GekkoVet’s clinical knowledge base is the product of 8 years of continuous creation by practising veterinarians and pharmacists. Its core is a unique and proprietary dataset that has been validated against scientific literature of more than 80,000 pages of peer-reviewed medical references, covering approximately 1,000 veterinary conditions across multiple species.
This is not a dataset you can generate with a large language model. Every symptom-diagnosis relationship, every drug dosing recommendation, every treatment protocol has been validated by veterinary professionals against current literature. The structure — how symptoms map to differentials, how differentials map to diagnostics and treatments — reflects clinical reasoning, not statistical correlation.
An LLM can summarise veterinary textbooks. It cannot produce audit-ready clinical decision support that veterinarians will trust in practice.
