Groups and sources of Personal Data
Gekkovet.com website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com´s data storage, databases and general Wix.com applications. Wix stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
GekkoVet uses Google Analytics for aggregated, anonymized website traffic analysis. In order to track your session usage, Google drops a cookie (_ga) with a randomly generated ClientID in your browser. This ID is anonymized and contains no identifiable information like email, phone number, name, etc. We also send Google your IP Address. We use Google Analytics to track aggregated website behavior, such as what pages you looked at, for how long, and so on. This information is important to us for improving the user experience and determining site effectiveness.
GekkoVet may also collect technical Personal Data in relation to Users from gekkovet.com. Examples of technical data are User IP address, browser type and version, operating system, computer or other device platform, preferred language and geographic location. Cookies may be used in processing personal data and accepting cookies is a way to ensure the services are working correctly. Technical data is collected from the devices with which the Users are using the services.
GekkoVet may collect Personal Data related to online events (such as webinars) and live events from the participants. This kind of Personal Data may include the name, contact details (telephone number, email and postal address) and the information of the workplace of the participant and other necessary data required for organizing the event.
Purposes of data processing
The purpose of collecting and processing technical data from the Users is to improve GekkoVet Services and ensure they are working correctly. Some cookies enable GekkoVet services to function or inform if the services are not working correctly.
The purpose of collecting and processing Personal Data related to online and live events is to organize and carry out the events as intended and enable sending additional information (such as event schedules, links to webinar recordings and information about upcoming events).
Profiling and automatic processing
GekkoVet Oy does not profile or process personal data automatically.

Right of Access – You have the right to request confirmation of whether GekkoVet processes Your personal data, and if so, to request a copy of that personal data.

Right to Restriction of Processing – You have the right to request that GekkoVet restricts the use of Your personal data in certain circumstances.
Right to Withdraw Consent – You have the right to withdraw the consent which You have given to GekkoVet regarding personal data processing.
Right to Data Portability – You have the right to request for a copy of Your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in certain circumstances
